About
About the website
The primary purpose of this site is to get me to write and draw every day. I read a lot of webcomics and I notice that most of them improve both in art and writing as they go so creating a webcomic of my own seemed like a great idea. As an added bonus now I’ve got a blog, which all the kids seem to be into these days, now people can find me.
About the Comic
Gothchic is about the ongoing misadventures of a twenty-something goth girl and her friends in Seattle Washington. If you’re not a goth don’t worry, neither am I (anymore).
Updates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. How do you pronounce the name of the comic (and it’s main character)?
A. “gôth chîk” or Goth-Chick (like a baby bird). The K was dropped when her ancestors came to America from the Old Country. - Q. Why don’t you do the strip in color?
A. The strip is in color, Black and White are colors. This is a comic about a goth girl after all, you’re lucky each page isn’t just a big black box with black on black word balloons. - Q. Are the character’s based on real people?
A. Yes. No. Kinda. Is that a good enough answer?
Ok, Gothchic isn’t based on a specific person, but she’s more of an amalgam or archtype of gothgirls I’ve known over the years.
