Softlaunch!
Ok, I’m relaunching this comic, but just a soft launch for the time being, to see if I can keep up with updates. Still a few small tweaks I need to make to the site before I’ll be 100% happy with it too.
About the Strip
This is the first new strip with both the new art style (spent over a year refining the characters for this) and the new format. I’ve changed to a standard three (or sometimes four) panel horizontal format, I realized that it’s the standard format for webcomics for a reason, because it works. I’m in the process of re-writing my pages to fit into this format, and then I’m going to get to work drawing them all up. I originally wanted to use a larger format since this is the web and there’s no reason to limit myself to a horizontal format but I also realized that I can always break out of the frames when I want to, expect to see some weird stuff down the line. I have ideas.
I spent the whole day today getting the first three strips done which isn’t too bad I think. If I can keep up that kind of pace I’ll get ahead, something no webcartoonist seems capable of doing.
